    Have been running Apple Silicon GPU tasks only for the last few days, but now there are no more tasks left, even when I click the update button, why?

        Hitting the update button doesn't necessarily mean that you will instantly get new tasks, even if
        there are some available.
        What have you set in "option preferences" under section "general" where it asks "store at least ...
        additional ..."?

        What does your "event log" say?
