I just built a new for me (old XPS-435t) system for Milkyway, Einstein and WCG. Latest 21h2 and AMD's 21.10.2 dated October 4th and pair of RX570.
Milkyway runs fine: over 500 valid since this morning when I started it up. WCG works fine but lot slower as it is CPU.
Unaccountably, all my Einstein tasks are dropping dead They should be taking about %50 cpu or so but are running %02 cpu and die after a few seconds. One lived for 2 minutes.
When got the AMD driver I had a choice of gaming or studio. Maybe I should have picked studio.
This is an old motherboard and one of the RX-570 is on an x4 riser. If that is the problem then 1/2 of the tasks would be bad not all of them. Going to try a different driver.

turn off beta tasks. the 1.28 AMD "ati" beta app doesnt work with pre-navi cards on Windows. it's definitely a driver problem, as you can get the RX570 to work under Linux with the ROCm driver. but on Windows, the driver doesn't properly support the features needed by the new app with anything older than Navi. "Gaming" or "studio" drivers will have the same result on Windows.
turning off beta tasks will solve your problem, and you'll get the older, but still working, app.

1.22 is working, CPU utilization is %17 and temps are 70c as is normal.
