Dec. 27th: project temporarily unavailable due to network maintenance

Hi everyone,

our University network will undergo some critical maintenance on December 27th, between 6:30 AM and 10:00 AM CET. During that time Einstein@Home might not be available at all times. This can affect our website as well as our workunit management servers. Don't worry, your BOINC software is going to cache extra tasks for your computer(s) to process and any finished tasks will be uploaded as soon as our servers are reachable again.

GDPR: New Website features and statistics export option

We plan to upgrade the Einstein@Home Web site this coming week in order to deploy new features that make our project more GDPR compliant. To that end users will see some new options that I will summarize here.

New users may only create an account by registering through the Web site. After your account is created, you may connect to Einstein@Home using a client.
