Has anybody here use some TPU designs for a piggy-back unit? Like Coral AI from Google or similar. ????♂️
no BOINC project would be able to use them. there aren't any BOINC projects for that kind of workload. a TPU is basically an ASIC.
Oh if only!!!! I have a whole box of asic miners, brand new I think, and a couple of butterfly ones and even a couple larger ones that require a larger than 1000 watt psu to run.

Flirc have updated their case to support the Pi5. Looks the same as the Pi4 one apart from the cut-outs for connectors. The Pi4 Flirc case can get quite toasty, so the Pi5 with its extra wattage is going to get even hotter.

I have not ordered any yet either but am thinking about it, I would want a case with a fan too though a cluster case with a huge pc type fan might work as well. BTW I read your blog every once in awhile and love it!!

The Raspberry Pi Foundation announced the Raspberry Pi 5 on the 28th of Sept. The official announcement can be found HERE
Key features:
It comes in 4GB and 8GB versions at the moment. Official pricing has increased and is $60 (USD) for the 4GB and $80 (USD) for the 8GB.
Phoronix has a bunch of benchmarks on it and have it 2 to 2.5 times faster than the Pi4 for CPU work and 2 to 4 times faster for GPU work.
